Vanessa Estaniel

Vanessa Estaniel is a vocalist, arts administrator, and music educator with a background in opera production, stage management, arts education, and event coordination. She has worked with arts organizations including Washington National Opera at The Kennedy Center and IN Series Opera, supporting productions, educational programming, and artists. Her experience in corporate event and administrative roles has further strengthened her skills in organization, communication, and creating welcoming and meaningful experiences for others.

Born and raised in the Philippines, Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance, cum laude, from Shenandoah Conservatory and is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in PK–12 Music Education at George Mason University. As a lifelong lover of the arts, she is passionate about the ways music can inspire connection, creativity, and confidence in young people.

She is beyond thrilled to join the Children’s Chorus of Washington Program team and looks forward to supporting the organization’s mission while building meaningful relationships with choristers, families, and the broader CCW community.

Outside of work, Vanessa has fallen in love with camping and backpacking—mostly because her fiancé keeps her motivated with cute outdoor outfits and captures all the Insta-worthy shots along the way!
