DCPS ALL CITY CHOIRS
The DCPS All City Chorus, formerly known as the DC Honors Chorus, is an elementary-level choir composed of unchanged voices. Music teachers from elementary schools across the District are invited to nominate students who demonstrate a passion for singing. Selected students prepare with their teachers at school before coming together for a full day of collaborative rehearsal. The experience culminates in a live performance for families and community members, celebrating the joy of music and the power of collective voice.

Participation Over the Years
“DC Public Schools is grateful for the opportunity to continue working alongside the Children’s Chorus of Washington to nurture the musical abilities of our students… This annual performance not only fosters a love for singing for our elementary-aged students, it gives them a sense of belonging in their school communities and among their friends.”
— Dr. Lewis D. Ferebee, DCPS Chancellor
“Participating in All City Chorus for the last two years has been one of the best decisions I've made as a music educator. The opportunity that they help provide for students is unmatched. My students who have participated have loved the community and the hard work of creating together, and have been so proud of the final product. This is a program that I hope to send students to for years to come.”
— Kaylee Mina, Dorothy Heights Elementary
